These are rare and gorgeous examples of hand carved, religious meerschaums.  The technique is originally from Germany, but the French are well known for their carving of  religious motifs.

These are in excellent condition and have brass frames, convex glass and hangers to hang on the wall or to be worn as jewelry, as shown in the pictures.
